Pathways to Work
CUMAC participates in workforce training programs, including Welfare-to-Work, offering people experience in the warehouse, office, Community Closet, pantry or referral office to build many necessary job skills and move toward gainful employment.
Summer Success Story
The success of our Pathways to Work program, in which disadvantaged community members are given the chance to learn valuable work skills and build their resumes at CUMAC, was proven this summer. Two young women who work in our thrift store gained employment at major retail stores. One of these hard working women was given the important responsibility of counting the cash register and locking up at night. We are very proud of them!
